The other night the men folk had the entire dining room table covered with their man crafting supplies. ;-) They were making homemade gar lures. Gar have rows of sharp, pointy teeth that get caught in the shreds of the nylon rope. No hook needed.
The contest has commenced. The one who catches the longest gar between now and August 15th gets a $50 gift certificate to Bass Pro.
